Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has apologized to Thaddeus Attah, HOR-Elect for the Eti-Osa Constituency.

Following Banky W‘s defeat, Deyemi reportedly sent Thaddeus an open letter in which he questioned his aspirations for the residents of Eti-Osa, according to an earlier story from Opagnews.

Many people found the open letter offensive and criticized him for being patronizing.

Deyemi Okanlawon addressed the criticism and apologized to both the new HOR and those who had been hurt by his tweet in a video posted on his Instagram page.

Accepting responsibility for his behavior, he pointed out that he could have used stronger language and shouldn’t have directed his anger towards him.

But, he emphasized that as a concerned Eti-Osa citizen, he would appreciate it if he responded to his request for an online interview.
