Simi commented on the APC presidential candidate’s use of coercion to get people to endorse him on the microblogging platform.
According to the mother of one, if Tinubu had succeeded as much as he claimed, he wouldn’t have needed to coerce anyone into supporting him.

Simi has voiced her dissatisfaction with a number of the occurrences that were noted during the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections that were held over the weekend.
Regardless of the political party they favor, Simi stated in a tweet that everyone should strive for fairness and a free and fair election.
The musician, who also questioned how anyone could support an election that was “blatantly crooked,” also mentioned that there were thugs and that some people had lost their right to vote.
