Otedola signs two artists and makes investments in the entertainment sector

According to Mr. Muyiwa Otedola, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), 10dollar Entertainment Groups, the business intends to invest in the Nigerian entertainment sector in order to give it a competitive edge over rivals from around the world.

Otedola announced the company’s ambitions to launch a multimillion-dollar entertainment agreement at a news conference in Lagos. He claimed that one of the company’s goals is to support emerging artists, who he claimed would be involved in many different facets of the industry in the future.

He lists them as being songwriting, advertising, branding, writing screenplays, producing, directing, taking photos, editing videos, and doing audio-visual work.

“I have supported several popular artists in the industry, and I have promoted, raised and exposed thousands of up-and-coming artists to the spotlight through the regular shows I organised.

“I have been supportive to the up-and-coming artistes in the area of providing musical content, promoting their songs, and organising street shows for them, to exhibit their talents to the world.

“I will not relent in my quest in promoting up-and-coming artistes to the world and also taking Nigerian entertainment industry to the next level.

“I like to deal with up-and-coming artists because they are the future of the industry, ” he said.

He added that the business had supported two upcoming musicians. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Otedola, popularly known as “10dollar,” has quietly supported emerging artists for the past six years but is now ready to reveal his grand ambitions.

Queen Staphire and Iboy MP are the lucky artists he most recently backed; their singles will be released on September 1 with marketing to follow.
