The MC for the wedding, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, stated that they take dollars, euros, and pounds.
Davido then took the stage to declare that Bitcoin transfers for wedding gifts are something he is also open to.
He mentioned that his Bitcoin wallet is available for use and underlined that he prefers Bitcoin to promises of cash to be provided later.
“I’m accepting Bitcoin as a gift if you can’t spray naira and I no want OBO I go give you tomorrow, I no want that one,” he said.
