Alexis responded by posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do. Including being the best groupie for my wife and daughter.”
Serena’s name resurfaced during Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud when Kendrick seemed to criticize Drake for his previous rudeness in a diss track.
At the ESSENCE Festival of Culture, Serena reportedly finally responded to “Not Like Us,” describing it as her favorite song. It’s her “jam,” she said to moderator Cari Champion, and it motivates her to Crip Walk.
“I love that song. It’s like the hit of the summer. When they play that jam, I’m jamming,” said Williams. “That jam is jamming. You definitely Crip walking in that song. It’s so cool what he did though. Bringing everyone to the stage? That was incredible … I couldn’t believe it.”
