In a viral video making the rounds on social media, MultiChoice’s executive head of content and West Africa channels, Busola Tejumola, shared some juicy details, including the Sunday, July 28th launch date of the show.
Tejumola emphasized that starting at 7 p.m. WAT, the premiere will take over screens on all Africa Magic stations.
The surprise is that the show’s final champion will receive a sleek new SUV and the much-coveted N100 million jackpot following 71 days of thrilling action-packed competition. Interestingly, this amount is a significant N20 million drop from the prize from the previous year.
Tejumola stated:
“After 71 days of game playing, on the 6th of October, 2024, a grand total of N100 million worth of cash and a brand new SUV will be won,”
“Our grand prize this year is worth N100 million.”
Recall that Ilebaye Odiniya set a high bar for himself by winning the title and a massive N120 million in the eighth season of All-Stars in October 2023.
Big Brother Naija’s ninth season is highly anticipated; auditions are scheduled to start on March 27 and go until May 4.
The producers of the show guarantee that the current iteration will feature an electrifying blend of drama, emotion, and intense competition.
A season unlike any other is anticipated on BBNaija, with “double drama, relationships, and huge competition.”
