VeryDarkMan’s Demands: Bobrisky’s EFCC Case

Bobrisky: Verydarkman outlines the requirements that he will not accept in order to accept the invitation from the EFCC

Nigerian social media activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has invited crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters. Since then, he has made audacious demands of the EFCC.

This incident follows the publication of a widely shared video in which Bobrisky purportedly revealed that several unnamed EFCC employees had accepted an astounding N15 million in exchange for dismissing charges of money laundering against him.

Ola Olukoyede, the chairman of the EFCC, responded swiftly, requesting a probe into the charges in a public statement on Tuesday night. Additionally, he sent formal invitations to VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky, asking them to come to the EFCC headquarters in Lagos so they could be questioned.

Never one to back down or be silent, VeryDarkMan responded right away. He declared categorically that he had no intention of accepting the invitation out of a fear of being set up in a defiant new video that was uploaded on his social media page, expressing his profound mistrust of the EFCC.

He drew attention to contradictions in the commission’s statement, casting doubt on the validity of their activities and publicly questioned why, as a non-suspect, he should be called to Lagos while the EFCC offices are in Abuja, where he lives.

The activist continued after that. VeryDarkMan made it apparent that the EFCC would have to throw open the red carpet if he were to give their request any thought at all.

VDM brazenly stated that they needed to handle him like a royal key informant and presented his wish list of opulent requests.

He listed a number of requirements, including a first-class ticket to Lagos, complete security detail, and lodging at a five-star hotel. It is clear that the EFCC will need to satisfy him in order to have a conversation.
