Nobody can predict how the election’s aftermath will play out; it might be entirely calm or not, but it’s better to be ready.

The Nigerian presidential election is scheduled for this coming Saturday, February 25.

There is a lot of excitement and build-up leading up to the election, including severe economic hardship, unplanned riots, and protests because the naira is in short supply. We, therefore, recommend that you fill your home with the items listed below:

1. Food items

Before the 2023 presidential election

Look at the food you have in stock to see if it will last a week or two. In that case, you ought to stock up.
Spaghetti, beans, and rice are necessities. Nobody is advising you to buy so much food that there is a shortage, only enough. Don’t forget about items like vegetable oil and spice cubes.

2. Toiletry items

Have you had any toothpaste? shower soap? Body lotion? Hygiene pad? Tissue paper? Detergent?
You don’t want to be without essential hygiene supplies during that time.

3. Gas for cooking

Whether it has finished or not, you still need to fill it full. If you don’t have a backup, cooking gas always runs out when you least expect it, leaving you stranded.

4. Gasoline for your vehicle and generator

You might want to make sure your car and generator if you have one, have adequate fuel when the elections are just a few days away. You need to be able to monitor the election results even if the electricity isn’t working very well.

5. Cash

Although this isn’t exactly a home supply, you still need to have money on hand. As the day draws closer, make every effort to withdraw what is necessary. Yes, we know it could be challenging, but give it your all.
